I've been on Paleo for about one year now. The differences that it has made for me:
* HDL went from 61 mg/dL (already pretty good) to 120 mg/dL (the best my doctor has ever seen)
(higher is better, ideal is >= 60 mg/dL)
* Triglycerides went from 44 mg/dL to 37 mg/dL
(lower is better, normal is < 150 mg/dL)
After my first lab work-up, my doctor told me: "your total cholesterol is a bit high, but your HDL is great, so don't worry about it."
I don't. :)
