I lost about 20 pounds of body fat within 3 months of being on Paleo. The Paleo diet is ideal for me since I love eating, and now I no longer need to worry about how much I can or should eat.
Ever since being on Paleo, I find it exceedingly difficult to actually gain any substantial amounts of body fat.
I would point out that, for me personally, the weight didn't really start coming off until I finally completely stopped eating cereals. I didn't think it would make such a big difference, but it did.
It was not my goal to lose weight. But I did lose 5 lbs and now I'm 113 lbs. This is just 3 lbs over my high school weight when I was most active. My stomach is flatter and with proper exercise I'm sure I'll get my 6-pack abs back. This weight loss all happened in the first week of doing the paleo diet.
As I get closer to my 50's I found it harder and harder to lose that 5 lbs so I gave up as this was minor to my overall weight. But I have never had such quick results with a sustained period of time.
In two years of eating Paleo, I lost 25 Kg, without any additional diet methods. Just Paleo!
5' 11" and 240lbs on March 7th. 183lbs on December 7th. After losing about 20lbs found that blood pressure was reduced. Contacted doctor and asked which of the two medications I was on, I should stop taking. After losing another 20 or so pounds, blood pressure was reduced again. Informed doctor I was quitting the other blood pressure medication. I now take my BP every now and again, finding it is always in the normal range.
I follow a "Paleo Lite" diet in that I will eat a few potatoes, white rice occasionally and peas & beans. I will also eat birthday cake, christmas cake and christmas pudding.
I count calories to make sure I stay on track. But, having lost 57lbs, I am finding that the weight loss has slowed up. Hopefully this is because I do some strength training and am putting on muscle.
Began the Paleo lifestyle on March 4, 2012 at a body weight of 213 lbs with a goal of getting back to my peak fitness weight of between 175 and 178lbs. Surpassed my goal in May - currently at 170. Strict Paleo diet (90%), also incorporating IF, HIT. Blood pressure started at 130/90 currently 105/78. Very pleased with the results so far. Currently focused on adding a bit of muscle and getting body fat under 10%.

I am a male in my 50s, almost 5'10. Four months ago I weighed 190 pounds. Now, I weigh only 154. I did virtually no exercise; only changed my diet. The best thing about it is that I don't get hungry on this diet unlike most of the other diets out there. This is a change I can keep up!
